Because graphite pencils produce shine ? I try to draw using graphite , and found it's very hard to control the pressure, sometimes its very shine when viewing at the side...I also experiences shine marks on my drawing , after layer of layer of blending , when I want to remark the lines , then the shiny parts come...any advice?
Ahh, i know, what you mean! Hm, i think it's the point, how often you are drawing at the same point like the pupil and how often you are blending this. then it's hard to remove any lines later and it's shining, thats right. I draw dark parts like the pupil just with an 3B, then blending, then draw with an 5B, blending and again with an 5B and thats it. It's dark enough and it's not shining hope, that helps!
